Fitch Ratings-London-23 November 2011: Fitch Ratings has affirmed Global Switch Holdings Ltd's (Global Switch) Long-term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) and senior unsecured rating at 'BBB' with a Stable Outlook. "Further to its EUR600m 2018 bond issue in April 2011, Global Switch retains strong credit metrics, with leverage on a loan-to-value basis at around 20%," says Jean-Pierre Husband, a Director in Fitch's EMEA Industrials and Property team. "Global Switch's financial structure could absorb a possible further downturn in global economic activity."

Moody's assigns Baa3 final ratings to Global Switch

Moody's Investors Service has today assigned final ratings to Global Switch Holdings Limited of Baa3 long-term issuer rating and Baa3 rating to the 5.5.% EUR600 million senior unsecured notes due 18 April 2018. The outlook for all ratings is stable.

Global Switch receives planning consent for new Singapore data centre

Global Switch, the leading data centre provider in Europe and Asia Pacific, has received Planning Consent from JTC Corporation to build a best-in-class SGD$300 million fully-fitted data centre in Singapore. This is the second major planning consent Global Switch has received within a year, Sydney having received full planning to build a second facility adjacent to its existing data centre, already the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.

Moody’s assigns first-time (P)Baa3 issuer rating to Global Switch

Moody's Investors Service has today assigned to Global Switch Holdings Limited a provisional (p)Baa3 long-term issuer rating and a provisional (p)Baa3 rating to a proposed EUR500 million senior unsecured bond. The outlook for all assigned ratings is stable. This is the first time Moody's has rated Global Switch, a real estate operating company that owns, acquires, manages and develops data centres with six in Europe, two in Asia Pacific and a ninth under construction in Paris. The company's carrier-neutral data centres offer wholesale, multi-tenanted space on medium to long-term leases.

Fitch Ratings-London 06 December, 2010: Fitch Ratings has assigned UK-based Global Switch Holdings Ltd (Global Switch) a Long-term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) of 'BBB' and a senior unsecured rating of 'BBB'. The company's Short-term IDR has been assigned at 'F3'. The Outlook on the Long-term IDR is Stable. Global Switch is one of the world's largest owners and operators of wholesale data centres.

Global Switch receives green light for new Sydney data centre

Global Switch, the leading data centre provider in Europe and Asia Pacific, is to build a world class, A$200 million base build (A$300 million fully-fitted) data centre in Sydney having received Part 3A Major Projects approval from the NSW Department of Planning. The 365,000 sq ft (34,000 sq m) new data centre - Sydney 2 - will be adjacent to Global Switch's existing data centre in Sydney which is already the largest facility of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere with 450,000 sq ft (42,000 sq m) of space.

Global Switch has record last quarter

Global Switch has had a record quarter for new lettings. It has signed up an aggregate of 92,000 sq ft (8,500 sq m) of data centre space with over 10MW of power allocation across five of its data centres in Amsterdam, London, Madrid, Singapore and Sydney.
