Global Switch Makes Key Appointments

Global Switch, the largest data centre provider in Europe and
Asia-Pacific, has made two key appointments that will support its
expansion plans and the development of the group´s service
offer.
Joel Stone has been appointed as Group
Operations Director with global responsibility for the development
of the Group's data centre operations and services. He was
previously with Microsoft and was responsible for all of the data
centres within North America. Joel was a key architect of the
Microsoft model, delivering some of the highest reliability and
standardisation within the data centre industry.
Patrick McCourt has joined as the group's
European Technical and Construction Director and will be
responsible for the successful expansion of the Global Switch
European Data Centre footprint. He has extensive experience in the
data centre industry and was previously Project Director on a
number of very successful large scale data centres in the UK.
John Corcoran, Global Switch's Executive Chairman commented:

Global Switch operates eight data centres around the world with a
total gross area of in excess of 260,000 sq m and has recently
announced the development of a second centre in Paris.
