Jose joined Global Switch as Operations Director, Frankfurt in 2022 and was promoted to his current role soon after joining.
Jose has around 20 years of experience managing international teams in complex environments including data centre, nuclear plants and digital transformation. He has a proven track record in increasing customer satisfaction and providing assistance as a competent and foresighted strategic partner in times of transition. Prior to joining Global Switch Jose was the Operations Manager for Microsoft Germany, where he was responsible for the German data centres’ performance and growth. He was integral to increasing the number of data centre deployments in Germany. Before this, Jose worked as Senior Consultant for Siemens Energy in Germany helping customers in their digital transformation and operational excellence. He has an impressive international track record having held a variety of roles in different countries (France, Germany, Finland and Peru), including Operations Director and Maintenance Director.
Jose has a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD business school in France/Singapore/Abu Dhabi and a MSc in Energy Management from KIT University in Germany.
In his role as Managing Director, Frankfurt, Jose is responsible for managing our Frankfurt Campus, overseeing business development and maintaining a best in class operational environment. The Frankfurt campus offers around 29,000 sq m of space with 28MVA of utility power supply capacity, and is a key connectivity and cloud hub providing some of the world’s leading brands with access to DE-CIX, a wide range of international and regional carriers, ISPs and leading cloud providers.
