Ashley Muldoon Chief Executive Officer
Ashley joined Global Switch in 2020 as Chief Operating Officer, before being appointed Chief Executive Officer in January 2024.
With over 30 years’ experience in the data centre and real estate industries, Ashley has significant experience leading and managing international businesses. Prior to Global Switch, he was CEO at Multiplex, responsible for operations in the UK, Middle East and Canada.
Matthew Dent Chief Commercial Officer
Matthew joined Global Switch as Chief Commercial Officer in 2018, having previously been Group Property Director at the business from 2002 to 2006.
In the interim, Matthew was Managing Director of Glebe Group, a UK property fund and asset manager. Within Glebe’s investment portfolio, the Group founded and developed Volta Data Centres, based in the City of London and where Matthew was CEO from 2012 to 2018.
Peter Domeney Chief Operating Officer
Peter joined Global Switch in 2024 as Chief Operating Officer following a 40-year career in the automotive sector, in roles spanning Electrical Apprentice to Engineering Director, COO to CEO.
Peter held global operational and engineering leadership roles at both Ford Motor Company and Jaguar Land Rover, before joining electric truck manufacturer Tevva in 2020 as COO and then CEO.
Eoghainn Calder Chief Legal Officer
Eoghainn joined Global Switch in 2020, as Chief Legal Officer, bringing with him over 25 years of legal experience.
Prior to Global Switch, Eoghainn was Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, with legal responsibilities for the firm’s EMEA Investment Banking Division. He started his career as a Trainee at Linklaters, before qualifying into the firm’s London and São Paulo offices.
David Doyle Chief Financial Officer
David joined Global Switch as Chief Financial Officer in 2014, having led financial operations at real estate and finance firms for almost 30 years.
Prior to Global Switch, David was CFO at Atrium European Real Estate (now G City Europe), one of the continent’s largest retail property groups, and before that was European CFO at Prologis, the world’s largest industrial real estate company.
Kate Appleton Group Human Resources Director
Kate joined Global Switch in 2021. Across multiple different sectors, she has built and led global People teams for over 20 years. At Global Switch, she has led digital transformation efforts and employee engagement schemes.
Kate’s past experience spans retail and fashion, with Asda, Gap and others; finance, with Direct Line; and pharma, with Perrigo.
