Sales Team

The Sales Team is made up of individuals that are dedicated to the technology industry. Vast and varied sector experience, an acute understanding of Global Switch infrastructure and the data centre market ensures we create tailor made, robust and flexible solutions that meet customers evolving requirements.



Maurice Thijssen - Regional Sales Director, Europe

Maurice joined Global Switch as Account Manager in 2005 and was promoted to Sales Manager, Amsterdam in 2010. In 2014 he was appointed Regional Sales Director, Europe.

Prior to joining Global Switch, Maurice held several sales positions with Stork Technical Services, a knowledge-based asset integrity management company providing services to corporations in the chemical, oil & gas, power and other major industries.

Maurice brings an energetic spirit to his role, which is coupled with knowledge and attention to detail making the purchasing of data centre space a rewarding and positive experience.


Marvis Lun - Sales Director, Hong Kong

Marvis joined Global Switch as Sales Director, Hong Kong in 2013.
Marvis has over 15 years extensive IT infrastructure experience having previously worked as Sales Director for Rittal in Hong Kong. Whilst at Rittal Marvis enjoyed multiple successes in selling innovative rack and high density cooling solutions into a wide range of national and international financial institutions and companies including Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, HP and Thomson Reuters. Marvis was also instrumental in standardising a major retail data centre provider's cabinet and rack solution. Prior to Rittal, Marvis worked for over 10 years with Emerson Network Power focusing primarily on enterprise power and environmental computer support system solutions.
Marvis' main focus is securing customer commitments for Global Switch's new Tier III+ 45,000 sq m gross data centre on the Tseung Kwan O (TKO) Industrial Estate.


Marcus Bartolini - Sales Manager, London

Marcus Bartolini joined Global Switch in 2015 as Sales Manager, London.

Marcus brings with him a wealth of industry specific knowledge and experience with over 7 years' sales experience within the data centre market. Prior to joining Global Switch, Marcus was Business Development Manager at a large-scale UK based data centre provider and before this he spent several years  managing strategic accounts for an international data centre provider.

 Marcus's role at Global Switch is focused on both new business and existing account management for the Global Switch London Campus.


Paul Morisson - Sales Executive, London

Paul joined Global Switch as Sales Executive, London in 2016.

Paul has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the data centre market having gained nearly 20 years' business development experience within the data centre and IT industries, where he has been pivotal in developing long-standing business relationships.

Prior to joining Global Switch, Paul worked for a London data centre provider, focusing on sales, after sales care and account management. Prior to this Paul held key sales roles for a global data centre provider acting for numerous Fortune 500 companies as well as an Internet Services Provider.

Paul focuses on new business within the London sales team, with the objective of delivering a best in class solution and service to customers.


Daniel Ramos - Sales Manager, Madrid

Daniel joined Global Switch as Sales Manager for Madrid in 2006.

Having previously worked for Reuters Madrid & Switzerland and Oracle Ireland, he has extensive experience in sales management and the banking sector.

Daniel has succeeded in closing significant deals with high level customers and has played a major role in rolling out new business strategies to ensure that occupancy levels for the Madrid data centre continue at high levels. His creativity and drive ensures long standing customers continue to find new benefits whilst working with the Global Switch Madrid team.


Michel Brignano - Director of Strategy and Business Development, Paris

Michel Brignano joined Global Switch as Director of Strategy and Business Development, Paris in 2015. Michel has over 30 years' experience in the technology sector, the last 15 of which have been directly in the data centre industry.

Before joining Global Switch, Michel was Managing Director for a large US data centre provider for nearly ten years and a member of their European Board.  Prior to this, Michel was Managing Director for a key European data centre provider where he was responsible for business development and growing key account customers.  He has also worked principally in sales for companies such as UUNET France, Dell Computers, and ICL.

Michel has an extensive knowledge of data centres, sales strategy and driving new business. Michel's main focus is to raise awareness of the Paris data centre campus's key benefits to companies seeking network dense, low latency solutions in Paris, and securing new business opportunities.


Arnaud Buclin - Commercial Director, Paris

Arnaud Buclin joined Global Switch in 2013 as Commercial Director, Paris.

Arnaud brings extensive experience in the data centre and hosting sectors having worked for Sogeti (Cap Gemini Group) where he was part of the ICT team, a large data centre provider in France, and Group NBT.  In addition he has built up valuable cloud and business continuity experience whilst working for ebrc, a data centre provider based in Luxembourg

Arnaud is responsible for leading the Paris sales team.


Stéphane Pradinaud - Senior Sales Manager, Paris

Stephane Pradinaud joined Global Switch in 2011 as Senior Sales Manager, Paris.

He gained significant experience in the telecom and TV industries while working for France Telecom, where he was in charge of the sale of technical infrastructures to broadcasters, and the sale of encryption systems used for security sensitive projects over Eastern Europe and Asia.

As an expert in industrial projects, Stephane Pradinaud also led the commercial aspects linked to the transfer of Waterloo to St Pancras International terminals for Eurostar, with an emphasis on contingency plans.

He is responsible for the Paris sales strategy with particular focus on Paris West, Global Switch's data centre which launched 2011.


Matthieu Diouron - Sales Manager, Paris

Matthieu Diouron joined Global Switch in 2011 as Sales Manager, Paris.

Matthieu has held several sales positions in the IT services and data centre industries over the last 10 years.  Prior to joining Global Switch, he worked for a large data centre provider in France concentrating on the cloud and Saas sectors. Knowledge in B2B marketing is part of his background with complex project management skills.

Matthieu brings entrepreneur skills with IT knowledge to manage existing customers and develop new opportunities.


Kelvin Wong - Sales Manager, Singapore

Kelvin joined Global Switch as Sales Manager, Singapore in 2001.

He has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the IT and telecommunications industry having held various positions with regional companies and MNCs.

Kelvin has successfully built and maintained long term relationships with strategic customers and has an excellent understanding of the local data centre industry. He has also been instrumental in developing business strategies to ensure Global Switch retains its position as the leading provider of Carrier Neutral data centre space in Singapore with unrivalled numbers of connectivity providers available to customers.


Paul Selwood - Sales Manager, Sydney

Paul joined Global Switch in 2008 as Project Manager, Sydney becoming Sales Executive and then Sales Manager, Sydney in 2015.  Paul has 11 years' experience in the ICT and real estate sectors and has a strong track record of developing strong relationships with both customers and suppliers.

In his prior role as Project Manager, Paul applied his comprehensive understanding of the engineering and operational systems and processes underpinning best practise data centres to successfully deliver multiple large scale projects within Global Switch's Sydney Campus, including the build and commissioning of 7.5 MW on Level 7 of Global Switch Sydney West.

Prior to joining Global Switch, Paul held various project management roles for several other data centre providers in Australia including CSC and Leighton's Telecommunications.

Paul is responsible for sales for Global Switch's Sydney data centre campus with a focus on new business.
